Welcome to my Destiny 2 Trophy Guide. The list for Destiny 2 is very easy, and is not very difficult at all. There are only 13 trophies for starters, which makes this list the absolute minimum amount of trophies required for a retail trophy list. The only trophies that will take a while are the ones for completing a prestige nightfall and doing the raid. You need to be at least 300 light to beat the prestige nightfall and around 280 light to beat the leviathan raid on normal difficulty. All of the other trophies are related to milestones (you can check these by pressing L2 on the director/map screen.
Besides that, you need to get the 3 subclasses for each class (Hunter, Titan and Warlock). This doesnt take very long and you dont need to max them out, just obtain the subclasses. The sub classes drop from any chest when you are around lvl 10 and lvl 15. Any questions about my Destiny 2 Trophy Guide, let me know in the comments below.
Step 1: Complete the story and reach level 20
First step simple enough, complete the story. This is pretty much all you can do pre-level 20 anyway and doing the story will automatically get you to level 20. This will take you about, 6hrs on your first character. You likely won’t earn any trophies on your way to lvl 20, but if you keep an eye out for public events and chests you should pick up a few of the extra sub classes as well.
Step 2: Flashpoints, Call to Arms, Nightfall and reach 280 power level
Next step is to get yourself to around 260 by getting blues from Public Events and Strikes. Reason for this is the powerful rewards from Milestones drop higher than 260, whereas blues only go up to that (legendaries go up to 265). If you want the plat done quickly it’s best to save them so you get the maximum return from the Powerful Engrams. Completing the Milestones will give you most the trophies on the list as you need to complete Shaxx’s quest and a Flashpoint.
Step 3: Raid, Prestige Nightfall and other characters subclasses.
Final step is to get to 300 power. Get here by completing milestones and the regular nightfall strikes, completing the raid on normal, as well as farming for exotic engrams. The raid is a good source of high level gear as everything that drops here is your level. When you get to 300 light you’ll be able to attempt the prestige nightfall. This is harder some weeks and easier others, it all depends on the strike as well as whatever modifier it is.
You may already have made additional characters, but if not then make the two you didn’t already choose and get their subclasses. This will not take long, about 4hrs each class.
Destiny 2 Trophy Guide
Obtain all trophies in Destiny 2.
Unlock the other 13 trophies to unlock, congrats!
Long and Winding Road
Reach level 20.
Level 20 is currently the level cap in Destiny 2. You will likely be close to reaching it after completing the story as you need to be lvl 16 to go into the final story mission. When you get to the new social space then, you will automatically be leveled up to 20.
Acquire each Titan subclass.
The Titan has 3 subclasses:
– Sentinel (Story Unlock)
– Striker (Side Quest Drops at around lvl 10)
– Sunbreaker (Side Quest Drops at around lvl 15)
At around level 10, you will be able to get the Striker subclass from any chest. These chests can be found out in patrol, defeating high value targets or completing public events. When you obtain the subclass, you will have to defeat a certain amount of enemies or defeat enemies next to other guardians in public events, the percentage on the bar will go up quicker if you defeat enemies in public events. Once you reach 100% kills on that you are able to go and complete a small quest on Earth to get your subclass. The exact same method is done for the sunbreaker, only this time you need to kill a lot more enemies.
Acquire each Hunter subclass.
The Hunter has 3 subclasses:
– Arcstrider (Story Unlock)
– Gunslinger (Side Quest Drops at around lvl 10)
– Nightstalker (Side Quest Drops at around lvl 15)
At around level 10, you will be able to get the Gunslinger subclass from any chest. The exact same method is done for the Nightstalker, only this time you need to kill a lot more enemies.
Acquire each Warlock subclass.
The Warlock has 3 subclasses:
– Dawnblade (Story Unlock)
– Voidwalker (Side Quest Drops at around lvl 10)
– Stormcaller (Side Quest Drops at around lvl 15)
At around level 10, you will be able to get the Voidwalker subclass from any chest. The exact same method is done for the Stormcaller, only this time you need to kill a lot more enemies.
Show Me What You Got
Complete Shaxx’s Call to Arms.
This is a weekly milestone for Shaxx. You start it very early on in the game, the requirements for the complete Milestone are:
– Win Two Quick Play Matches
– Win Two Competitive Matches
This then unlocks “Call to Arms”, the requirement for this changes weekly. Known requirements so far are:
– Show Glory in the Crucible (Win around 10-13 Games)
In A Flash
Complete a Flashpoint.
To unlock Flashpoints, you first need to complete the main storyline quest “The Red War”. Talk to Cayde-6 and you’ll receive a milestone called “Patrols”. You need to complete complete a quest then to unlock patrols, and this quest is a simple introduction to how patrols work. Once you have done that, you’ll then need to complete and additional step where you need to finish 4 patrols on any planet. Once you have done that return to Cayde-6 and you’ll unlock a new milestone called “Flashpoints”. The Flashpoints give you a task to do each week on a specific planet, such as completing public events or looting a certain amount of losts sectors.
The People’s Hero
Complete a Heroic public event.
A Heroic Public Event is triggered by starting a regular Public Event in patrol on any planet and doing a specific task, while that Public Event is on. Most people trigger these anyway, so you will more than likely just get this trophy by playing the game. The easiest one to do in my opinion is the fallen walker one. All you have to do is damage the walker until it drops arc charges. Put the arc charges in the objects next to the force fields to get the scorch cannons out.Bring down all the force fields and the heroic public event will start, and for this one, it just means killing another walker which is easy to do with the scorch cannons.
Heart of Darkness
Complete a Nightfall strike.
A nightfall strike is a weekly activity in Destiny 2. It is a regular strike, but the enemies are a high level and there’s also modifiers on the strike such as element burns (which increase the damage of element types for you and the enemy). The strike is also timed and each week the way to get time back changes (for example, killing enemies adds it up sometimes, going through rings in the strike adds time in another). The regular nightfall strike is only 240 recommended power. For the trophy “The Prestige” you need to complete a nightfall on Prestige difficulty, which is an even harder version of the nightfall. Please refer to that trophy for more information.
The Life Exotic
Collect 15 exotic weapons or armor.
Exotics are obtained from “Exotic Engrams” and you have a chance to get them from Public Events, Strikes, Adventures & certain chests. You can also get them from the Nightfall and from Milestone rewards. You are given two exotics during the story and if you complete the game on another two characters, that’s 6 you get just from the story. The other 9 can easily be obtained from the aforementioned engrams or by completing the questlines on Earth, Nessus and Titan. Each of those quests will reward you with a certain exotic at the end.
Complete 30 challenges.
After the main mission “Fury” (Final IO Mission), you will have to talk to Ikora at the Farm. After you do this you will now see challenges in all activities. Patrol on each planet has 3 challenges, Strikes and Nightfalls have 3 each and both PVP modes have 3 each. There are plenty of them to do and they reset each day. They are well worth doing anyway as they give you a decent amount of tokens as well as XP. There’s no way to track how many you have done, but you can do around 20 a day so it will not take long to do 30 of them.
Belly Of The Beast
Complete the Leviathan raid.
The raid has a recommended power level of 270. You need a fireteam of 6 to beat it, and you enter the raid by selecting the Leviathan ship on the right hand side of the director screen
Complete the Leviathan raid or a Nightfall strike on Prestige difficulty.
This will be the hardest trophy for most. Currently, the highest level you can get to in the game is 305 (using mods will get you to this point). The recommended power level for the Prestige Nightfall is 300 and you cannot change your loadout once you enter the strike!
The modifiers rotate each week for the Nightfall and so does the strike, sometimes it’ll be easy and sometimes it’ll be difficult. You will need a good team of at least 295 before you even attempt to do this as well as weapons that match the weekly modifier and elements that also match. The known modifiers so far are:
– Killing time: Kill enemies to earn time back.
– Rings: Go through the rings at certain strike intervals to get time back.
– Prism: An element rotates, doing damage with that element does much more damage and other elements do less damage.
Lest Ye Be Judged
Encounter an Emissary from beyond.
To get the “Lest Ye Be Judged” trophy in Destiny 2, you need to win one game of Trials of the Nine to get access to an area called “The Third Spire”. Travelling to this area will unlock the trophy.
Trials of the Nine is only active from Friday-Monday and are the only days you can play it. It has no matchmaking so you need a team of 4. The game modes are countdown and survival and they rotate each week, same as the map does.
