Assassin’s Creed Origins Trailer & Gameplay – E3 2017
After many leaks the past few months, Assassin’s Creed Origins has been officially announced at E3 2017. The game will take us back to Ancient Egypt where we’ll play as a man named, Bayek. Unlike the last game, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, Origins will only feature one protagonist.
During the gameplay, we see how the eagle vision in the game has changed… so much so that we actually see through the eyes of an eagle instead of it changing the view through the protagonist’s eyes. This is very similar to the mechanic is Far Cry Primal, where you could use an owl to mark enemies. The eagle seems to work much like that, you will be able to mark enemies from above so you can track them easier when playing as Bayek.
The game seems to have taken a more, fantasy approach as we see a giant snake-like creature in the gameplay trailer. Assassin’s Creed in the past has never had mythical creatures in it, so we’ll have to see how this plays out when the game releases in late October.
We also see a loot system, with different tiers of rarity (such as common, rare, legendary) and a leveling system. This shows Origins is going for a more, action RPG style game instead of the free roam stealth game we know from the previous games. Here are the two trailers below for the game from Microsoft’s E3 2017 conference.
Assassin’s Creed Origins will release worldwide on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 27th October 2017
