My name is Harry, I’m 23 and I live in England, UK. I’ve been into gaming all of my life, and I enjoy playing all sorts of genres. I enjoy making guides, and it has been a big part of my life the past 6yrs. All my work on my YouTube channel has been done so and will continue to be done so, by myself. This website is also maintained by myself. It’s a lot of work sometimes, but I enjoy doing it.
My YouTube Channel & HarryNinetyFour.com aim to make high-quality guides for collectibles, trophy/achievements, walkthroughs and other video game guides. I cover all major releases, as well as the DLC for them. Sometimes, I cover indie games if they take my interest. I also write the occasional review.
Q. Why “HarryNinetyFour”?
A. Well… my first name is Harry. The NinetyFour part comes from my birth year, 1994.
Q. What is your PSN and can I add you on there?
A. My PSN is Harry94_ I get a lot of friend requests daily, and I tend to keep my friends list to friends only. I have a community however which you can find and join on my PSN profile.
Q. Why don’t you do commentary over videos?
A. I get asked this a lot and have seriously considered starting to do to it. However, my channel has been built on no commentary guides/videos. I believe that guides should just be simple and straight to the point, which is why I add text on the screen and such. Another reason I don’t is not everybody who watches my videos can understand English speech but can read it.
Q. Can I use your work?
A. If you would like to embed any of my videos into your gaming website, forum or social media, feel free to. If you write guides for any trophy/achievement websites such as playstationtrophies.org, you can embed them there also. For anything else, please contact me. Reuploading of my content onto your own site video players or YouTube channels is not allowed. Please contact me if you have seen my content uploaded to a channel other than HarryNinetyFour.
Q. How do you pick games that you want to cover?
A. I cover pretty much all AAA game releases and some indie titles. You can find a list of future games I’ll be covering on my upcoming games page.
Q. How do you find collectibles and trophy methods so quickly?
A. When playing a game, I am always on the look out for potential trophy spots. I have to consider how easy it would be to replicate, how easy it is to get to (for example, a main mission you can’t replay is no good). As for collectibles, I find them myself. I usually do a playthrough and avoid everything. I’ll make a note of where I saw things as I go and pick them up in a new playthrough. Sometimes, if they are really tricky, friends will help me find them.
Q. How do you get games early?
A. Publishers give early access sometimes to Press/YouTubers. I get to prepare videos pre-release and upload them when the embargo is lifted. The publishers, get more publicity for their game.
Q. What are your PC Specs?
A. I7-7700K (overclocked to 4.6ghz when rendering), GTX 1070, 32gb DDR4 RAM and a 500gb PCI-E SSD project drive. I only use this for video editing as I do not play PC games, only console. I’m using a single ultra wide 21:9 LG 29UM68 with this, which I highly recommend. I also have a laptop which is a MSI GE72 6QD Apache Pro.
Q. What do you use to capture and edit video?
A. Elgato Game Capture HD is what I use to capture all my videos with, here’s a link to their website, If you’d like to buy one yourself. To edit video I use Sony Vegas Pro 13.
